UAB “ARS LAB” implements the project No. J05-LVPA-K-03-0116 financed by the EU structural funds “Development of sensor nano-structure coatings and sensor array”. The total value of the project is 907,478.08 Eur.

The aim of the project: to develop e-nose technologies and to create an innovative nano-structure coating and, using allirants, to create an array of sensors that would be sensitive (selective) to specific volatile organic compounds.
The aim of the project is to create an array of small-sized and low-energy sensors that are selective for low concentrations of volatile organic compounds and suitable for installation in smart devices.
The project will contribute to the priority “Functional materials and coatings” of the priority direction of research and experimental (social, cultural) development and innovation development “New production processes, materials and technologies”.

The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund

Financing amount: EUR 680 716.62
Implementation period of the project activities: 2018-06 – 2020-06

UAB “ARS LAB” implements the project No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-838-01-0217 financed by the EU structural funds “FoodSniffer nozzle design”. The total value of the project is 20500.00 Eur.

Ars Lab has successful experience in developing electronic nose-based food quality monitoring devices. In 2015, the portable and smart-compatible e-nose solution FOODsniffer was launched, which can successfully detect the freshness of meat (pork, beef and chicken) and fish. The development of e-nose-based solutions remains the company’s core business, with the long-term goal of being a leader in innovative solutions in its chosen field.

The currently available FOODsniffer solution is a portable device capable of reliably assessing the freshness of meat and fish products.

The FoodSniffer Nozzle Design project aims to improve the measurement accuracy of FOODsniffer and provide the consumer with a complete set of four nozzles: 1) nozzle for measuring the freshness of meat when vacuum-packed; 2) nozzle for measuring the freshness of meat when measured intact 3) a nozzle for measuring the freshness of the meat through the opening of the storage container and 4) a nozzle for measuring the freshness of the meat when the meat is packed in disposable bags. by simply placing the device in a stand.

The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund
Project value: EUR 20,500.00
Financing amount: EUR 10,000.00
Implementation period of the project activities: 2017-01-02 – 2017-12-29

UAB “ARS LAB” implements the project No. 03.2.1-LVPA-K-801-02-0145 “Export Development of UAB “Ars Lab” in International Markets” financed by the EU structural funds. The total value of the project is EUR 81,314.00

The company’s goal is the successful international implementation of both Foodsniffer and the new solution. Therefore, participation in this project would significantly increase the company’s exports to new markets, create conditions for the company’s products in foreign countries, improve products according to customer needs and help establish relationships with potential partners. The company does not have the possibility to implement the project in full with its own funds, therefore an external source of support is required for the implementation of the project. Thanks to this project, UAB Ars Lab would have the opportunity to participate in 7 specialized international exhibitions in Germany, Brazil, China, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, India and Malaysia, where they would introduce market participants to the company’s activities and products. As markets are receptive to products based on new technologies for a healthy lifestyle, significant market share can be expected to be gained or even become a market leader by making the necessary contacts in these markets in a timely manner.

By participating in international exhibitions, the employees of UAB Ars Lab will seek to actively seek foreign partners, new markets and increase sales abroad.

UAB “ARS LAB” implements the project No. J05-LVPA-K-01-0239 financed by the EU structural funds “Development of an array system of sensors integrated in refrigerators to determine the level of freshness and spoilage of food”. Total project value – 414795,42 Eur

After implementing this project, UAB Ars Lab will present to the global market an innovation, a sensor array system integrated in refrigerators to determine the level of food freshness. This product will be unique and new on a global scale due to its scientific and technological solutions. The concentration of volatile particles inside the refrigerator released during food spoilage will be detected by sensors. As the amount of these particles increases, the consumer will be informed that certain products are no longer fit for consumption or will soon be unfit for consumption. The system will be installed in smart refrigerators connected to the refrigerator’s central control system, and information about the freshness of the products will be displayed on the refrigerator screen or transmitted via Bluetooth to smart devices with a special application installed. With the rapid development of technology and the proliferation of smart devices in everyday life, this solution will be in demand for its functionality. E-nose will facilitate the maintenance of products in the refrigerator and ensure the health and well-being of consumers, protecting them from poisoning or poor food consumption. The target customers of the innovation are the world’s refrigerator manufacturers, and the target consumers are refrigerator buyers around the world.
